We’ve looked at the document you uploaded and checked it’s consistent, legible, and current. It’s an experienced mariner’s document check, done once, so it doesn’t have to be repeated for every application.

Honest by design
A document check is not the issuing authority. Where a credential can’t be confirmed, it’s marked plainly, never dressed up. Trust is the product, so we don’t overstate it.
Plain English: “Reviewed by Malmo Marine” means we have looked at your uploaded documents ourselves. It is a convenience for everyone in the hire, not a substitute for the issuing authority.
Security & privacy

Your data is yours. Here is how that is enforced.

Not a promise on a marketing page. These are the actual mechanics, in plain English. A career profile only works if you control it, so control is built into how the platform stores and releases your documents.

Private by default
Your certificates are readable by you and nobody else. Not other seafarers, not recruiters browsing the register, not anyone who has not been handed a link by you.
Expiring document links
A document is never served from a public address. It opens through a one-off link that stops working fifteen minutes after it is issued, so a copied URL does not stay live.
You create every share link
Nobody can generate a link to your profile but you. Give it an expiry date when you create it, or leave it open. Either way it is issued from your account, not requested from ours.
Revoke a link at any time
Revoking is immediate. The next time anyone opens that link, including someone who saved it weeks ago, they get nothing back.
Contact details stay hidden
Your email and phone stay hidden until you choose to show them, or until you accept one recruiter’s request. Accepting one does not reveal you to the rest.
Audit trail on every change
Every status change is written to a record that cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, not by us either. The history of a credential is as checkable as the credential.
